Standards Alignment
Every source and source set is tagged with codes from the official Nebraska Social Studies Standards (2019) and the national C3 Framework, grouped by grade band (K-5, 6-8, 9-12).
How tags work
Each source carries 1 to 5 codes: a Nebraska history, civics, economics, or geography standard for each grade band it fits, and a C3 Dimension 2 indicator matched to the kind of source (for example, constitutions and court cases map to civic institutions, and maps to geographic representations). Source sets also carry the inquiry and argument standards, since each set ends with an evidence-based writing task. Tags are a starting point for planning. Check them against your own curriculum.
Standards text is quoted from the official documents: Nebraska Social Studies Standards (NDE, 2019, PDF) and the C3 Framework (NCSS). Tip: on the home page, use the Standards filter or click any green code on a card.
